12-08-2015 Getting to Know Star
She takes her job of look out over the entire neighborhood very seriously.
Last night she herded me to the back door and made it clear she wanted me to go onto the deck with her. Out we went. She led me right to the gate that had come unlatched in the wind. I latched it and only then was she ready to settle down for the night.
Sometimes, she gets so happy that she wags her head and her tail stands still.
The view from the living room is breathtaking.
This is what it looks like on a bad day. Lots of wind and rain today.
Star has been a delight. Very patient in teaching me
how things are supposed to be done around here.
