Title

When I got there, Zooey was most eager to become best friends. But as soon as the family left, all Zooey wanted to do was to look out the window and wait for them to come back… and watch squirrels.

20141108-Zoe (4)About noon we went for a short car ride. She liked it well enough, but as soon as we got back, she resumed her vigil.

After the sun went down, Zooey wanted more interaction.
She was kind enough to let me rub her belly. 20141108-Zoe (1)…she barely tolerated having her picture taken.20141108-Zoe (2)After dinner, she brought me her favorite toy. She liked the new game of me hiding her toy and she finding it.

When it was time for bed, she taught me her game. We went outside for ‘last call’ potty break. When she was done, she dashed into the shadows. As soon as I found her she dashed off into the darkness again. I couldn’t find her. So I went into the house, got her food bowl and a few kibble. I stood at the end of the walk and plunked the kibble into the metal bowl slowly, one at a time then turned and walked toward the front door. Zooey ran into the house just as I got to the door.

Zooey was happy to sleep in the kennel all night. When we got up, Zooey was all excited to play find the toy. We played a bit then had breakfast. Then played find the toy some more.

When I began packing my tote, Zooey lost interest in her toy, went to her window look out spot and resumed her vigil.

20141108-Zoe (5)She does not like the tote packing game.
